He is always prompt to respond to an inquiry, less than 24 hours in my experience, and does a great job communicating during the design phase prior to the appointment. I had developed the idea in my head, and had a very specific vision for what I wanted, I did not have the best time articulating it (or finding the best reference photo because it’s really an “off the beaten path” idea). Jeff was an open book, open minded, and gently steered me in the correct direction. We are months into the project. As I’ve told Jeff (several times) his work has surpassed the vision I had in my mind. He’s a rad guy, a brilliant artist, his studio is top notch is ridiculously comfortable. Jeff is very responsive, and easy to communicate with. Easily one of the most talented artists in the area. I’m excited for the next steps on this piece.

Jeff Clark began tattooing in 2009 in Brooklyn, NY. In 2016 He moved back to Maine, where he grew up and opened Scorpio Rising Tattoo in 2021. Specializing in Illustrative, Fineline, Black and Grey, and Realism, Jeff also enjoys working in stippling and etching styles. He enjoys working with a diverse range of subjects, including animal portraits, insects, nature scenes, botanicals and portraiture.
